Lullaby of rice
Chu Man Ting
I project my body experience onto the material (the dough) through kneading. The dough absorbs the strength and spirit of my body and turns out to be the personification of myself. The yeast used for the dough continuously ferments and expands the form while it is baked. The baked form reveals the contradiction between rationality and desire and is finally hung along in that state of bandaged and swollen.
