I was a Little Teapot
Ink and colour on paper with seal engraving on stone

Inspired by a Chinese children’s song ‘I am a little teapot,’ this is a self-portrait depicting how I see myself as a child now that I have grown up. The lyrics mentioned that ‘I am a teapot, which is fat and short.’ I took these lyrics as a metaphor of myself and painted myself as a teapot.
