“Silence is golden” is a well-known idiom in China, yet I question whether victims or offenders can actually benefit from silence? Another Chinese idiom states “A loose tongue may cause a lot of trouble”, but shouldn’t there be some reasons behind the trouble? Is it because the trouble has been expressed or are there other reasons?
