LEE Hong Yuet, Connie's work is based on the theme of 'animals'. She likes to indicate and examine animal issues found in society. Instead of only making 2D artworks, she has started to get involved in ceramic sculpture, where she focuses on the structure and shape of living things, and explores more creative possibilities.

Humans often define themselves as superior, classify creatures into high and low, and measure the value of life above nature. People scorn animals, however, worship creatures in myths. Putting life in hierarchy, meanwhile, advocating 'all beings are equal'. Aren't human beings contradictory?
