KWOK Nancy is a multi-disciplinary designer who exploits the inherent characteristics of ordinary objects to subvert the meanings of their original functions. Interested in material culture, she explores the meaning and history of objects and the intrinsic value of ready-mades. Creating new insights and experiences of mundane objects is her source of inspiration. She tends to encourage viewers to observe the full capacity of a mundane object rather than solely accepting the given meaning and function.

After Nude Descending a Staircase, No. 2 presents a fragmented reflection of the visitors and gallery, emphasising an abstract, dynamic representation of viewers' movements. Visitors are guided to move while observing a static surface to realise the beauty of movements.
