Affirmation of Sanity
Self-evaluation is an internal, objective observation.
It is a repeated process of switching the role of observer and the observed; a solitude that removes a subject’s subjectivity while the object objectifies itself. Skin as a membrane is the boundary between “you” and the world, a vessel of self that carries the consciousness of being in your own body. The repetition of observation became a self-therapy, futile but not meaningless.
