With low sense of self- esteem, I keep recalling the criticisms I received, even the unreasonable ones. I express my fear through the proverb “I would rather have a Char Siu as my child”. This book seems like an analysis of why being a Char Siu is better than a person, but it is actually a self-deriding autobiography.
